MESSAGE FROM SUMMER
Greetings Therapeutic Recreation Friends and Families,

We hope you can join in the winter fun! November starts with Soccer and Unified Basketball practice. Please register today before we fill up!

Thanks to all those that came to the Halloween Dance! We had a record crowd this year, and so many great costumes! Thanks to Allyson, the TR Hip Hop Troupe, DJ Joel, and all the great volunteers that made this such a big success. Also, many thank you's to the Firehouse Quilt Group and their generous donation of seasonal quilts to our dance raffle. The participants loved them! One last shout out to HRCAA for donations and support of the event.

In Special Olympics Bowling, seven athletes competed in October's area competition, and three athletes will be representing our team at the state competition November 18th. Good luck bowling team!

All of the fall activities can be found in the Fall Program Guide

FEATURED ATHLETES & VOLUNTEERS OF THE MONTH

Athlete of the Month: Jada

Our November Athlete of the month is Jada! Jada is seven years old and does Yoga and Tumbling with Therapeutic Recreation. She likes to swim, ride horses, play with friends at Kid's Adventures, cook, and color. Her ambition is to do gymnastics. Jada has two dogs and one fish, and her favorite foods are M&M's, chicken, and cherries. Congratulations again Jada for being November's Athlete of the month!

Volunteers of the Month: Halloween Dance Volunteers

Our November Volunteers of Month are the Halloween Dance Volunteers! Many thanks to the volunteers who helped decorate and run the dance! We had a great turnout this year - 95 participants, and we could not have done it without all your help. Thanks for making the night so special for our guests, and thank you again for your support of the TR program!
